W.M.P---"Workshop for Music Performance"
The concert hall is located in the heart of the Flatiron district of New York City at 31 East 28th Street (ground floor) between Park Avenue South and Madison Avenue. WMP Concert Hall is also adjacent to Gradoux-Matt Rare Violins, LLC, a famous violin shop repairing and restoring rare string instruments.
Decorated with 19th century chandeliers and gilded mirrors, WMP Concert Hall attracts musicians and private collectors from all over the world. The hall comfortably hosts an audience of 70 and is equipped with a brand new 7'4'' Bösendorfer concert grand piano. WMP Concert Hall makes a perfect venue for solo recitals and chamber music. It is handicap friendly and easily accessible by public transportation or car.
During the summer of 2010, WMP Concert Hall has been renovated. We have built a wooden shell on stage for acoustic reasons and all the performers have been extremely enthusiastic about the improvements!
